Moderators of Reddit r/The_Donald message board have banned Qanon posts, saying the theory is now an embarrassment to its community.

Doesn't really matter if q is real or not. If it is teaching people to research things and think for themselves that is a good thing.

"Q" was majorly hacked on 8-10-18. It's making a lot of people question it.

The bottom line is: You don't need "Q" to support the President and work toward/intend for/pray for a better country & world.

The funny thing is that shit like this only strengthens the resolve of the good.

Yes, exactly. The very fact that dozens of news outlets, after 10 months of silence, all attacked Q on the same day is strong evidence that "there's something there, there."

That does not mean that Q's posts are Gospel truth or messages from Heaven. It does mean that Q's posts are seriously frightening the Deep State.

The better analogy is to religious seers and prophets.

For centuries, devout Catholics--including myself--have eagerly followed reports of Divine visions, usually but not always of the Virgin Mary. The visions often included messages, both public and secret, offering insight into the past, present, and future. In sum, this so-called private revelation has typically been a mixture of the exciting/wonderful, the mysterious/ambiguous, and the banal/redundant. Specific predictive timelines almost always fail; but more general warnings and promises often seem to have a retrospective ring of truth--if one waits long enough!

Notice how that description fits Q's posts rather well.

Similarly, many Protestant and Orthodox Christians follow alleged prophets who recount visions or dreams from Heaven. Consider how many Protestants claim to have been told in advance that Donald Trump will become President, that he will turn our nation back to God, etc.

I don't agree with that. People should be able to choose for themselves what is worth reading/watching. Otherwise, they are just as bad as Twitter, Facebook, and CNN...
