It was interesting analyzing the tactics they used in this article to try to stamp out the Q movement.

This is what the article says in a nutshell:

Q is far right, but now being rejected by the far right.
Q's being rejected by most Trump-supporters.
It's a conspiracy theory that's even too kooky for conspiracy theorists.
A prominent Christian survivalist does not believe it.
A prominent Christian evangelical thinks it's dumb.
Rush Limbaugh's name was dropped.
They even trotted out Alex Jones, saying he promoted it then declared Q compromised.
Scott Adams thinks it makes Trump supporters look dumb.
The article writer calls it a hoax.
The writer neglects to mention the broad range of topics covered by Q, misleadingly implying that Q is nothing but more pizza gate.
Interest in Q spiked, but now it's dropping.
Conservatives are distancing themselves from Q.
Trump's name was dropped.
Reddit moderators are banning Q posts, but apparently have not banned a community dedicated to debunking Q.

I'd say this was a pretty thorough hit piece. They covered a lot of bases. They declare just about everyone on the Right is against it, call it a dumb and crazy hoax, and imply that its popularity is dying.

We even got a chart showing us Q's google trends, just in case we didn't know the media considers us no longer stylish. Of course, which way did they expect it to go now that Q is being censored? They even pointed out that a popular Q app was removed from Apple's App Store.

I've seen my share of conspiracy theories over the years, including some that caught on like wildfire, but I've never seen the MSM go to such lengths to debunk a conspiracy theory. In the past, even very popular ones barely got a mention in the press, if any at all.

This crusade against Q by the media is very unusual. As far as I can recall, I've only ever seen 2 other instances of the media going on a debunking spree, previously against 9-11 truthers and Obama birthers... and now Q.
