Especially with all the sjw hype around it. I like the character tho and his/their appearance in Avengers Infinity War was really good. Quoting: Randy_Marsh Hell, I like the character too. But damn, the movie did nothing for POC. Then again, there is no country on this planet run by POC that is successful. |

You’ve got too much time and money yes? Quoting: GutBesser Yes, I have plenty of both as well as a 134 IQ. It was just a way to kill time before bed. The movie sure as hell didn't paint them in a positive light. Last Edited by 'Spawn' on 09/06/2018 12:58 AM |

Quoting: Haines77 I thought all along this was about the Black Panthers movement, but right now 10 minutes in I have no idea what I'm watching. Either power through it or watch something worthwhile. This is the worst Marvel movie I've seen. At the same time, the accuracy is stunning to those in the know. |

This goes against everything Nick Fury and The Avengers fought for in the 1st Avengers movie which is the premise that alien science and technology needs to be protected and not fall into enemy hands. I think this scene was added to minimize the homogenous and isolationist wakandans for the SJW crowd so that they could appear more "inclusive" than they really were. And for good damn reasons that Nick Fury would agree with obviously. Black Panther was on par with the first two Thor flicks. Nothing special. Dalton89 |

Sorry bro, I think the first two Thor movies were better. Seriously, the thing about Black Panther that blew my mind was that it portrayed blacks...as blacks. Spear chucking, infighting, crazily dressed tribes looking to kill each other - oh yeah, then there's vibranium sprinkled in to make them look intelligent. There isn't one other thing in the movie besides vibranium to remotely make the savages look civilized. Bald women warriors with spears? Men still wearing animal skins with spears/swords? Some dude with a huge coin in his lip? No. Huge disservice IMHO. Then again, pretty damn true. As soon as someone can point me to a single country on planet Earth successfully run by blacks, I'll shut up. Last Edited by 'Spawn' on 09/06/2018 01:47 AM |
