Right about now every farmer who has an old Mauser, Lee Enfield, R4, R5, etc should be cleaning and oiling them before the SHTF.

The few videos I have seen of farmer preparedness shows them with crossbows and paintball pepper ball guns and a bug out plan.

Unless they can ALL (4 million) retreat to a defendable area and consolidate their defence forces they will all be picked off Blackhawk Down-style. It may already be too late unless there is a covert vast para-military force already primed and ready to cut the head off the snake and drop all comms and even the grid. I doubt it though.
