OP, are you talking booze or colas? If booze is making you weak, learn to control that side of your emotions. You are stronger that a bottle of whisky or a can of beer. Don't let those objects run your life. Set a bottle on your kitchen table, unopened with the seal intact, and leave it there. Know that you can pass by the bottle and not need what is inside. It is easy to do. Don't sit at the table an look at the bottle. Get outside and work, exercise or enjoy nature. If inside, watch a television show, read a book, spend quality time with your significant other. Those activities are more heathful than sucking down a bottle of booze.

Addictions are tough to break, but once you can go through an entire day without partaking in something, that is the beginning of the ending of the cycle. Keep in your mind the old saying "Just say No!" and that will be helpful, also.

Not to say Alcohol is inherently bad or anything, it's moderation and action prevalent for safety or harm. Alcohol can be a healing product, to disinfect- help a fever and open your pores for instance. It's not to rely on the object, I could understand your point but I want to shed some positive light from a different beacon.
