We have been having a kind of thumping off and on recently.
Kind of like underground work with equipment while there is none that I know of going on.
We had a real important road have a cave in not long back, it's one that connects to our helipad and hospital.
It is on the same mountain right behind me up higher than me, I could walk there from the back of my house.
We have had some street crumbling and some land sliding on private land.

So it could be a land issue with more collapsing in smaller areas or pockets or it could be some form of tremors.
Do not really know.

Wabash valley area. Some places have gotten ~7 inches. We've had sinkholes opening too recently which isn't normal at all for us.

No clue. ISU had mentioned they were going to be experimenting with fracking a few years ago. Now we get sinkholes. :/ but it very well could just be all the rain we've been getting.

I know a structural engineer in the midsouth and he said "liquefaction" is the big concern in that area for big cities if the big one hits.

We've all been patiently waiting for the big one to clean out Memphis and West Memphis.

Too bad Pine Bluff is probably too far away to be completely eradicated.

Also hopes for East St. Louis to get it.

As for me I got supplies for 45 days.

I'm reading a book called "The Rift" about NMSZ. It has historical blurbs from 1812. I don't know if it'll happen the same way, but back then, there were a lot of quakes leading up to the big one.

so if y'all are in that zone, maybe you'll have plenty of warning to bug out?

according to that book tho, foreshocks lasted from Dec. 1811 to Feb. 1812, so bugging-out for three months isn't reasonable.

I'm east of New Madrid, right on the border of not being effected. We are protected by the Smokey Mountains and then a smaller range right by my house.

Last week we dug a well on my property and the water pressure was 100 psi, usually 40 it high. So I suspect some underground activity going on.

San Fran the Millennial Tower will fall.

I'm in the east side of the zone. It will be an interesting day if I'm home and the big one happens! My house if carved into the side of a very steep hill and the entire back side is on stilts. I'll likely get a crazy ride to the creek 50 feet below.

IDK but I'm sure I felt a tiny tremor here in the UK early hours of the morning, around 1 am this morning...

No news on it and no one reporting in the UK so I guess not...

They are and too me it's worth the risk living here! 14 years now so far so good! I do have quake insurance if I live through it!

Sinkhole just opened up in Terre Haute IN. Biggest one I've seen locally.
