Anonymous Coward User ID: 78091106 United States 10/19/2019 03:50 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There is a difference between analog instruments and formats and digital. It was all analog then. Analog synths, analog tape and records...all analog for a while after that. The first digital tape format in recording studios did appear in the 70's I think but that was extreme cutting edge stuff the public had little to no knowledge of or exposure to. All I know is, It Was Some Of The THE BEST MUSIC, EVER!!! We used to jump around as teenagers when it came out, blasting our stereos in our family rooms! "Moroder" Did the heavy beat theme/music soundtrack of "Midnight Express." Here is Moroder's TYPICAL DIGITAL BEAT SIGNATURE - In the mid-1970's BLAST WITH YOUR HEADPHONES FROM 3:09 Mins. TO 3:52 Mins. AND FROM 5:22 Mins. to 6:24 Mins. - It's STILL MIND-BLOWING AFTER 43 YEARS!!!!!!!!! Hey John! Great post back when you first started it, excellent follow up now! This from a guy who was born in 1972 and remembers everything back to when I was only a few months old. And you're right about Moroder doing the digital beat signature and how many don't realize how complex it is to make digital music and to get a certain sound, let alone a hook that really catches on with so many. In fact, here we are in 2019 and my son got into creating digital music and just got his first short album picked up on iTunes! I'm proud of him as he's also big into 60's, 70's and 80's music and truly an old soul, having loved all kinds of music as well as edm, chill and ambient today. He's only 15 (16 in November), but I'm rather proud of him! [link to music.apple.com (secure)] |

In 1972 I saw no reason to be overly suspicious of the govt, even though they had just stolen 4 years of my life and got a lot of my peers killed in Viet Nam. How little we knew. Now she calls me despicable and wants me dead. Last Edited by Bennder on 10/19/2019 04:42 PM Communism is for LOSERS Communism is SLAVERY Fuck Joe Biden |
