I remember Jack Hanna on TV once tell a story about three colleagues who let their guard down while approaching a seemingly docile and subdued tiger. Once they surrounded the tiger, the tiger lept up and with one swipe disembowled/killed all three people in a split second.

These 2 cops talk to this guy for over 2 minutes telling him he needs to get out of the truck. A minute later they are both being shot at.
