MoveOn Organizing Massive Rallies To Defend Rosenstein And Mueller

A prominent leftist non-profit is preemptively preparing a response to the potential firing of Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and special counsel Robert Mueller. Rosenstein was the subject of a damning New York Times report.

“Trump will create a constitutional crisis if he fires special counsel Robert Mueller or Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who oversees Mueller, or attempts to compromise the investigation by other means,” said a post from MoveOn.org.

The group is preparing to hold more than 900 simultaneous protests around the country in the event that the bad actors in the DOJ are fired after Rosenstein was exposed Friday for “suggest[ing] last year that he secretly record President Trump in the White House to expose the chaos consuming the administration, and discuss[ing] recruiting cabinet members to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Mr. Trump from office for being unfit.”

According to the MoveOn page, there are already 400,000 RSVP’s for the event.
