The rule of law involves the manner in which our government is run - the manner, not the person or persons. To have one man or woman, ANY one man or woman, able to work their will, solely their will, on this nation, is NOT the rule of law. We have a system of checks and balances for good and sufficient reasons.

I dislike much of what is happening in congress, but I do not want a situation in which only one person makes all decisions arbitrarily. These are very dangerous waters. History is replete with details of what happens when only one person controls an entire nation. Let ours not be one that goes down that path.

Bear in mind, this is not only dangerous for our country, but for the person in control, as well. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. That was not a jest when said, nor is it now.
