Put together a scripture prayer guide in case anyone could benefit from it.

Helpful prayer guide based on scripture:

Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus, Father, Your Word says that now is the time for all to awaken from sleep, for our salvation is nearer now than we first believed.

Lord, deliver (namely: ________) from the power of darkness, and cause them to put on the armor of light. Help them in their daily walk to put on the Lord Jesus Christ and to avoid the lusts and idolatry of life.

Father, I ask You to cause them to turn their eyes away from worthless things, to come to their senses, and escape the snare of the devil. Deliver them from immorality, strife, and envy, and draw them near to You, Father, with a true heart. Create in them a hunger and thirst for You, Your righteousness, thirst for Your Word that cannot be quenched and revive them in Your ways. I ask that You fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that they might have a walk worthy of You, Lord, fully pleasing You, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of You, strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask You to bring them into the calling that You have predestined for them; help them to serve You with a loyal heart and with a willing mind, and instruct them in the way they should go. Let them be doers of the Word and not hearers only, meditating in Your Word day and night.

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask You to establish their heart, so they will never be shaken, and show them a way of escape with every temptation. Let them owe no man anything except their love. A love that is in deed and truth, not just in word and speech. Father, cause them be living sacrifices, serving You in the time of Your power. Seeking first Your kingdom so that they will reap abundant blessings.

I pray, Father, in the Name of Jesus, that they will honor You with their possessions and with the firstfruits of their increase; Praising You, Lord, with their whole heart, walking humbly with You Lord, being determined to act justly, with loving mercy and righteousness, being gracious and full of compassion for others. AMEN.

God's name is not just an identification label but it is an expression of His nature and identity.

When we say "Hallowed be Your Name" we proclaim the person, power, and authority of God.

When you pray for others, you can use the Names of God to intercede for God to work in their lives.

Here is an example:

"I pray for my wife, that You will be Jehovah-shalom to her. I pray that You will be her Jehovah-jireh, providing her every need this day. Jehovah-nissi, I pray that Your banner will reign over her life. I pray that as Jehovahm'kaddesh You will sanctify her this day... (etc.)"

Do you really honestly believe that the Almighty some how will listen to your prayer instead of the other 10.9 billion people on earth.

Reality is the only existence. There is no magical bearded man up on the clouds tuning in each day to listen to little man who is not pure in heart. Jesus was the last one to walk the earth who was pure in heart, it’s how he became a yogi and could manipulate matter and spirit.

Surely you know that that one must be absolutely pure in heart and no one is.

Period.

I have of a silly question, how do you fast? I mean what is the procedure/tips that work for you so that you're able to keep it up the longest?

Was always slightly religious before Trump. During the Trump election I got serious about prayer because I began to see the evil natures that exist. After this nomination process I am convinced there is good and evil forces out there. If there were a calling and a time to take sides for good and evil, now is the time. Evil is no longer hiding and must be confronted.

There are three types of fasts commonly practiced:

Partial fast – Described in the book of Daniel where for three weeks he abstained only from “delicacies,” meat and wine (Daniel 10:3).

Supernatural fast – These are total fasts--no food (solid or liquid) and no water. Paul went on an absolute fast for three days following his encounter with Jesus (Acts 9:9). Moses and Elijah engaged in a supernatural absolute fast of forty days (Deuteronomy 9:9; 1 Kings 19:8). This kind of fast should be done with great care. Our bodies cannot go without water for more than three days.

Complete fast – Water or juice fasting, especially when fasting for an extended period. Juice fasts will provide you with more energy than water-only fasts and still lead you into the humbling experience of denying your desire for solid, chewable food.

The Normal Fast: The normal fast involves abstaining from all forms of food but not from water, and commonly lasts 24 hours, from sunrise to sunrise. According to The Foods and Nutrition Encyclopedia, “For healthy individuals, no harm results from short-term fasting.”

The average healthy person can go without food between 21 and 40 or more days before the body begins to eliminate vital tissue (starvation).

You should consult your physician before beginning any fast lasting longer than three days. If you want to learn more about the physical effects of fasting (and especially if you’re considering a fast longer than one to three days) read books dealing with the medical aspects.

Beginning The Fast: If you are fasting for the first time, you might begin by missing a meal or two. Over time, you can build up to a full day or more.

Begin by refraining from solid food, but drink liquids. Water is the best, since soft drinks ‘poison’ the digestive system and inhibit the purifying process, and coffee and tea stimulate the nervous system.

Before beginning the fast it is best to eat lightly and cut back on caffeinated drinks. It is common during the first few days of the fast to experience headaches as the body withdraws from and removes caffeine.

Breaking The Fast: Breaking the fast may require as much discipline as beginning it. During the fast your stomach contracts and your body’s digestive and elimination systems rest. The longer you fast, the more time the digestive organs need to reactivate before functioning at full speed.

If you plan to fast only a day or two at a time, it is best to end the fast with a small glass of fruit juice as your first meal. Gradually introduce small amounts of easily digestible foods such as yogurt, soup, fresh fruit, and cooked vegetables.

If your fast lasts longer than a few days, you should continue with juices for a day or more before gradually introducing more substantial foods like yogurt, soup and fruit.

You should stop eating at the slightest sensation of fullness.

If you have built up to and desire to fast longer, you should consult your physician and review a health book on fasting.

I’m always talking to God and have been begging for his intervention.

What stumbles me is watching the news. I spend half the day repenting for what I end up saying. At this point I am begging for my heart not to be hardened towards the people involved in this.

Joseph was falsely accused- and one day stood as a ruler (like a judge?) over those who had wronged him.

God will prevail- and His word will accomplish all it has been sent forth to accomplish.

God knows your heart. Find something else that you can safely fast from.

If you look at prayer as Quantum entanglement (as I do since I started doing it) and not some sort of 'plea' to anything other then the Communion of people praying for the same thing, it makes far more sense.

There's a lot to be said for this, I was praying last night and this morning for a homeless woman in our neighborhood.

Prayer and fasting, could be the right time for that.
