One of the posters on this thread suggested to look for a sign. Later that afternoon, Bastiat (?) posted a thread asking people to fast for seven days. Thread: Christians, please! Next 7 days please commit to prayer and fasting! Adding to the six days already completed, another seven would be 13 days, or end on Friday night, October 5th. Therefore, my first post-meal fast would be Saturday morning, October 6th. October 5th is exactly 6 months from my birthday 13 days is 2 days longer than my longest previous fast 13.3 days is 1/3 of Christs 40 day fast A good enough sign for me.
