You need roots to belong somewhere.
Usually they are to be found in the family ties - sometimes in strong friendships though.
That's how the feeling of belonging "normally" develops.

I have the same problem with the "belonging".
So... let me know when you solve yours and how :-)

Look, I'm very aware of what it feels like not to feel like I'm from here, but this IS my planet, this is where I was was born. I at one point just decided to quit belly achin' and to be about more than just myself.

And isn't that obvious that everyone belong to them selves ? if belonging to a self has any sense anyway - that's just a way to say that we are self aware.
