Err, how about both? Use a quality product like Meguiar's, no cheap shit.
Quoting: Shiva ascendant I use "Zymol" on the Harley. Bikes are no problem, as all you gotta wax is the tank, fenders and oil/battery covers. Cars and trucks are a pain in the ass. This one's paint & clearcoat is still good. But it rained today, didn't bead, and figured it was time. Maybe if it's not raining next weekend. If my daughter sees me waxing my car, she's gonna pull right next to mine and want hers done too. Uh oh. teach her wax on wax off, then have the kid do both cars
