ORIGINAL EXTRACTION PROCESS The team of scientists who discovered Carbon60 isolated these atom clusters using a laser beam to create hot plasma, which was then passed through a stream of high-density helium gas in order to vaporize the Carbon from the surface of a solid rotating graphite disk. The carbon species were then cooled and ionized which finally resulted in the formation of the clusters. 1996 The scientists’ findings earned them the 1996 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Since the original goal was to produce carbon plasmas to replicate and characterize unidentified interstellar matter, the discovery of buckyballs was very surprising. They also discovered that the C60 molecule formed a cage-like structure, a regular truncated icosahedron.Kroto mentioned geodesic dome structures of the noted futurist and inventor Buckminster Fuller as an influence for the naming of this particular substance as buckminsterfullerene. The experimental evidence, a strong peak at 720 atomic mass units, indicated that a carbon molecule with 60 carbon atoms was forming, but provided no structural information. The research group concluded after reactivity experiments, that the most likely structure was a spheroidal molecule. The idea was quickly rationalized as the basis of an icosahedral symmetry closed cage structure. 2012 In 2012, the latest research was released proving that the use of Carbon60 adds to our lifespans. So if the vitamins and minerals and other therapeutic agents have any benefit toward remedying or improving the problem/s you have, their product seemingly has a turbo-booster effect. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78142137 United States 11/09/2019 11:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have been on it for a year and can not say enough good things about it. I have never been good at taking anything regularly but I never miss taking this every morning. I look forward to it. The coconut oil goes great in my morning coffee. I have not had any negative side effects, none. I can not say enough good things about it and how it changed my life. I never want to be without it again. I have been making my own and getting the powder from cheaptubes for the last year, the best price I found for tested confirmed product. I have never purchased pre made or ordered from any other place, so I can not comment on other sources. Even after a year I am still making constant daily improvement. Yes I am growing younger, not older, I am looking many many years younger, almost unrecognisable from a year ago. I take it with noopept and DMAE. I have gone from having to wear a wig from hair loss to my long beautiful long thick blond hair back. I have never heard of hair growing back this thick and long so fast before. My skin has firmed up and does not sag on my face anymore. I no longer thrash in pain every night trying to get to sleep from AS. SO much more to say........ |

[link to www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov (secure)] Carbon fullerenes, otherwise known as Buckminster fullerenes, or “bucky balls”, have unique physicochemical properties that may be exploited for use in consumer products... C60 has been shown to induce toxicity in numerous cell culture and whole animal systems Fullerene C60 has been described as a free radical scavenger by some ; yet others have reported it to generate oxygen free radicals within and outside of biological systems...With few exceptions, pristine C60 and suspensions of C60 clusters (nC60) are reportedly more toxic than their derivatives ...In vivo, nC60 induced oxidative stress and lipid peroxidation in the brain of juvenile largemouth bass. However, others have reported C60 to act as a powerful antioxidant in vivo in rats with no acute or subacute toxicities...Despite disagreement amongst researchers as to the oxidative potential of C60, oxidative stress is currently the leading proposed mechanism through which fullerenes may induce toxicity. Oxidative stress is a common pathway of toxicity and disease. An organism can undergo oxidative stress through several different mechanisms....It has yet to be determined through which, if any, of these pathways fullerenes may act. The physicochemical properties of C60 support the hypothesis that this nanomaterial may induce oxidative stress following photoactivation. Due to its unique spherical structure, C60 has the ability to accept up to 6 electrons. These electrons essentially race around the structure through dipole moments. When C60 is acted upon by light, it is raised to a higher energy level producing singlet C60, which reacts with O2 to form singlet oxygen (1O2)....In the presence of C60, both visible and ultraviolet light can generate ROS, particularly as singlet oxygen and superoxide. These byproducts can induce oxidative stress leading to a variety of detrimental downstream effects such as lipid peroxidation, DNA and protein adduction and cellular death. ...The results presented herein strongly indicate oxidative stress as a pathway of C60-induced toxicity in this experimental model. |
