Listen, from what I see, we all are pretty much on the same page and want the same outcome.

My two cents:

--I agree. This county isn't going to see a moment's peace until the boot hits the neck.

--The midterms are critical and the last stand. I do believe we will prevail, by a margin. And I feel Trump will win 2020. It's the "after that" that I become highly concerned.

--Trump and his best team know these things. No doubt. He/they realize that we are frustrated and demand a solid performance and outcome. He/they are not stupid.

--Most importantly...I'm highly confident that they know they had best pull something significant outta their ass. Again, they know this. Important....if they don't, they know they lose shit loads of support. Midterms are the line and results need to be seen. I don't expect full resolution, but the showing needs to be big and represent the steps being taken. Significant something by midterms or it's all over.

--They will get something out there, but it will be butt up against the midterms, for maximum damage...in the face...leaving zero time to clean up. Remember the attention span factor and the average citizen. Even Kavanaugh will have faded somewhat by November. It's slightly too soon.

--And lastly. Everyone take a breath and step back and understand that we know a nominal fraction of just what is the real deal up there. We project and take educated guesses. Understand that this fiasco that is the federal government and the power structures surrounding it are logarithmic in stature and complexity. It's more of a monster than you realize...by a long shot. Then after that, it's even more nasty than that. Then after that, then after that. No effort is going to be easy, right, or static ever. Any complaints that it's not done or it's not fast enough, are only based in emotion and not logic. The logistics are horrifying.
