Last November, someone in the military accidentally left nearly 100 GB of classified data on the public facing AWS portal. It was user error, not a hack or unknown security flaw of Amazon’s. But it still represents a problem for Amazon, which places control and management responsibility in the hands of the customer —as in, operators or developers whose specialty is not managing a complex cloud environment. Both Microsoft and Google have put additional processes in place to protect their cloud from user error. “While you have control over the environment that you’ve created.......................We have assumed controllllllll--..----.-.-.-.--We have assumed controllllllll |

To protect it from Russians, etc. They also seemed to implicate some kind of processing to improve blah blah blah? Seems pretty sketchy to put all that data in MS hands, especially if there is some kind of processing of the data going on? Over the last 30 months Microsoft has betrayed their long time loyal customers and proven that they cannot be trusted. They seem to have taken up the google mantra: All your data are belong to us |

Life is a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves. |

And they're saying they can withstand Chinese quantum computing hacking, which make modern encryption standards next to useless. And they're saying they are safe against all the backdoors built into the fabric chips manufactured in China. And they're saying they're safe from genius hackers around the world, and state sponsored hacking that can use things like wannacry worms. And safe against vulnerabilities not yet found but probably exist within things like windows operating system. Oh and i forgot, they also must be saying its safe against all the exploits that got spilled onto the deepweb after the NSAs most secure computer vault was cracked which hosted all the known computer vulnerabilities/exploits/worms/viruses ever discovered by the NSA. Quoting: Agent Smith 2014 That's some claim... Or maybe its just your run of the mill cloud service and Microsoft/Amazon just want to make more $$$$ MONEY $$$$ MS is spending something to the tune of 6bil on approx 20 new data centers, a new one just opened up in Mesa, AZ, they're trying to compete against AWS as it was all a done deal with them and the gov till the f up over at AWS. Also many don't know that Oracle is building triple redundant data centers across the US for their cloud offering. Itshothere |

Quoting: New World Man The same M$ that ties up my CPU 100% with "telemetry". ^This File Manager was a better tool than windows exploder however, IE integration was their worst product decision ever and now this MS-Edge POS which can't even be controlled by Group Policy or Security Policy at least with Group Policy and Security Policy IE can be subdued to 99.9~% unusable & non functional what chokes me is idiot software devs that use IE functions in their product case in point: all my systems are IE denied recently tried to install winzip 22 nope nada, denied a dialog window that said JS is disabled appeared and the installer hung um no duh / sans excrement shirlock asshats JS is still top attack / infection vector especially in IE I will be seeking a refund from them :pixie: General Failure Reading Drive A: Who is General Failure?
