You do have to declare if you are Repub or Dem at the voting site. All the crowd around you will hear who you are.

Back in the late 1800's early 1900's, when it was time for Americans to vote, we voted in party specific lines. Managers of companies would spend a day down at the voting lines walking around and documenting who stood in what line.

If you, as an employee of X company, stood in the wrong line, you were fired the next day. It was because of this did we implement booths with the right of the voter to not say whom they voted for.

Today... well, all one has to do is say something that the Emocrat do not like and you can be fired from your job.

Of all the various kinds of speeches, one would think that political speech should be protected not only by the government but by employers.

This morning is the first I'm reading something about her promising more "uncivil" behavior...and while I won't be shocked, I'd still like to see her say that terribly inflammatory BS.

Regardless, we have to vote and if there's a fight at the polling station it will better than the civil war that is likely if the democrats take back congress. Just play that scenario out and it will happen.

So the real question is, do you risk "maybe" some violence at the polling booth or do you accept a hot civil war because you failed to vote. Neither choice is good, but the former is the least confrontational.

Do what I do go vote and ignore people. I take a book while I wait in line that way no one talks to me. If they ask me who I am voting for I tell them its none of their business period

Laws separate us from the third world toilet bowls. They are making a mockery of us all.
