We can be used for good, but people mostly just judge us harshly instead of seeing that we have good hearts. Or they use us...

History is rife with examples of the Church calling witches evil, and of saying the real gods and goddesses are really demons.

You do know that before Christianity came around people worshippped real gods and goddesses? And what better way to get people to turn to the Church, and give them their money, than to call the real god and goddesses "demons"? Make people too afraid to use magick, so they'd have to rely on the Church.

Completely ignoring the qualities that for centuries, millenia, people said the gods and goddesses had, the Church in one broad stroke labeled them all demons. Okay. If they can ignore what's written about qualities of a god or goddess, whose to say we can't ignore the qualities of your god? It goes both ways.

Also, magick can be used for good or evil. Believe it or not, Wicca and Paganism has codes of conduct. In the sense of not using it to harm or twist people. While that's not forbidden, in some corners it's frowned upon. Also, we don't need a god to pray to and bow to and scrape to. Saying that is how the Church gets your donations and money.

I would always try to be open to the higher will, even ask, though you may not be answered in words, if you are sincere, the presence will be there. If still not sure, find a teacher that you trust. Unless powers are given to the higher, they could be a source of bondage and trouble.

That's what I have a problem with witches! It is a matter of old science vs. new science, and a credibility issue concerning the source(s) from WITCH they are taken!

With witchcraft you are protected by the divine feminine (MOTHER)

With Christanity you are protected by the divine masculine (CHRIST)

I want my ancestors to leave me alone

I also want my privacy (with Christ you have to call on him or the angels) so that I can marry

They scare the shit out of me when they appear

Christ is the saviour for ALL of us so I respect him and don't use magic at all

If you want to defend yourself as a single female use witchcraft, if you choose

If you want to ALLOW Christ and the angels to defend you use Christianity

It's not true that in Witchcraft you are protected by only the divine feminine vrs the male.

There is a strong influence of the feminist witchcraft tradition, especially active in US politics today, all coming down from Z, Budapest and Starhawk..
