Anyone Done A Complete CARB WITHDRAWAL?
Coming up on 4 weeks (Monday) with zero carbs.

Fatigue has been an issue in the last week. I assumed it would get better after two weeks but still feel like napping in afternoon.

Any suggestions? Will the carb withdrawal fatigue improve? If so, what timeline?

What exactly are you eating, and are you getting enough fat? Are you trying to lose weight? Have you considered doing one meal a day and or fasting?

I do keto, but with lots of veggies. I don't count them as carbs. Lettuce, kale, cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, you get the picture.

Just nothing like potatoes or carrots... Never felt better!

Get some pink salt or celtic salt and mix with water. If you're tired your electrolytes are likely low. Plain water won't keep you hydrated.

Wow 4 weeks, good job. Are you exercising regularly? When I'm carb free I will try to do the keto thing. I'll use keto stix to measure my ketones. Also I bought some Keto support drink at Wal Mart for around $20 but there are different variations of this product online. I think it helps give the body pure ketone energy which will give you a boost while helping support the diet your on.

Here's my bottle:

I would shoot for 15 carbs or 20 or under per day... in other words over the course of the day...

You need to eat at least 30g of carbs a day to maintain your blood sugar, that number can vary slightly depending on your height, weight, and genetic factors. This is a very important thing to do when on a ketogenic diet as you can cause yourself severe longterm harm if you do not mind it.

Your body will always manufacture enough fuel to keep your brain going. I have been low carb for 7 years. Used to have brain fog with carbs, not anymore.

no, but I have done a compete GMO withdrawal... and it has been brutal

it is difficult for me to believe that once there was only ORGANIC FOOD (in my lifetime even) and now it is difficult to find ... but it was life of death for me ... I had so much yeast and mold in my system it was litterally KILLING me ... so I had to go cold turkey

you "gluten" carb whatever freaks are UNBALANCED

just go ORGANIC and you can eat anything but SUGAR (its still lethal) but you'll get to love the benefits of raw unprocessed local honey ... and never go back to Franken foods

Re: Anyone Done A Complete CARB WITHDRAWAL?
I'm low carb most of the time but sometimes it's not practical so I end up eating carb-packed meals once a week or so

and i will say

that after eating little to no carbs for a handful of days, eating them makes me super tired. Like i always need coffee after a carb packed meal but not after my normal meals

I can relate. I had to go through a complete Potassium Iodide (SKI) regimen for 6 months to rid the fungus like overload. A good read for most people is called Wheat Belly.
It speaks about just how much the wheat DNA has been altered over the years that it is barely compatible with the human body in its current form.. [link to www.wheatbellyblog.com (secure)]

Personally I eat mostly Keto and it works for me. I try to keep my systems PH to the alkalized side if I can . anything carby for me brings lots of swelling, brain fog and inflammation.
I do exist, I'm pretty sure :)
