So what was their 3rd quarter earnings? Couldn’t have been too good.

It's not that Amazon or any other company is crashing per say

It's just the central banks of the world have been buying sovereign debt by running "printing presses'" ( yes I know it's digital now but roll with it ) 24/7 to buy 10 year treasuries to ensure the yield remains low and there is no place to put money but the stock market

The system is rigged

The market desperately wants to find fair value but as long as the yields remain low there is zero place to put massive amounts of pensions and 401ks etc that beats inflation

Watching the market means nothing ... there will be no real crash until the yields on 10 year treasury bonds start going vertical ... over 4.5% gets in danger territory over 5% there will be a crash ...

It could crash at lower bond yields but you would see an inverted bond yield curve that would signal it ...

Also humans don't do the majority of trading anymore it's all computers and algorithms doing the trading in the place humans since the crash of 2008

That's scary in and of itself

The only people really trading anymore are stay at home day traders and most of them will lose everything eventually

If the bond market was allowed to find fair value then the stock market would follow ... but fair value on 250 trillion in would debt is anyone's guess

It's multiples higher than the current 3.xx but no one really knows ... how much would you value debt at that has no mathematically possible way to be paid back ??


In my humble opinion fair value on the stock market is about 35% of its current high and it will eventually find fair value when the worlds central banks run out of bullets

It could be this year or a decade or two of bullets no one knows ... we are in uncharted territory... but it will find fair value eventually then the world will have an inflationary depression that is exponentially greater and more terrible that the Great Depression in the 1930's

Right! I haven't been in stocks since the Fed started pumping in 2009. That money still has to find its way out of the market before a true valuation is achieved. I've been buying assets since then. I haven't been making much money on them but I have something that will always be worth Dollars.
I am, however, looking into marijuana stocks right now. It's the new alcohol stock!

FANG (Facebook,Amazon,Netflix and Google) stocks are the life blood of our current stock market. If they tank, this economy is tanking.

Missed on revenue. That means people are spending less.
