Forum Administrator 10/29/2018 10:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It makes mathematical sense. If everyone, who choses to invest a portion of their wealth/income, makes a 20% return on investment, the billionaires are going to have a larger dollar amount than the millionaire, the thousandaires and the hundredaires. Anonymous Coward User ID: 71416482 Japan 10/29/2018 10:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yup, we're in a fucking plutocracy. A plutocracy (Greek: πλοῦτος, ploutos, 'wealth' + κράτος, kratos, 'rule') or plutarchy is a society that is ruled or controlled by people of great wealth or income. [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] Weak Anti-Trust Laws & Enforcement caused this bullshit - and invasive expansion of the Federal Commerce Clause have infiltrated each of the Sovereign States and allowed for these powerful lobbies to form Monopolies that literally rule our lives for the benefit of a few 'elite'. This is exactly what the founders fought against - Lords & Nobility - and yet we've come full circle. |

Money makes money if you invest, so people with tons of money can't help but make more just by having money. Many billionaires are doing a lot to help mankind, feed the poor, etc., they just don't advertise their wealth and accomplishments lest they be targeted by loonies. Who does your thinking? |

User ID: 73455141 United States 10/29/2018 12:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A joint report by UBS and PWC showed that world’s billionaires’ wealth enjoyed its greatest-ever increase last year, hitting $8.9 trillion shared among 2,158 individuals. Quoting: keybored “The past 30 years have seen far greater wealth creation than the Gilded Age” the report said. “That period bred generations of families in the US and Europe who went on to influence business, banking, politics, philanthropy and the arts for more than 100 years. With wealth set to pass from entrepreneurs to their heirs in the coming years, the 21st century multi-generational families are being created.” More than 40 of the 179 new billionaires created last year inherited their wealth, the report said. “A major wealth transition has begun. Over the past five years, the sum passed by deceased billionaires to beneficiaries has grown by an average of 17 percent each year, to reach $117 billion in 2017. In that year alone, 44 heirs inherited more than a billion dollars each.” [link to www.rt.com (secure)] This has to stop or nobody but them will have any money left. Such greedy and selfish people. They couldn't spend all that money in many lifetimes. They don't need to have so much when so much of the world is in poverty and average workers can barely support themselves. What do you propose? I know how to help the situation. Takes money to make money, right? Rich people flip homes constantly artificially driving up home prices. For example Hollywood stars buy a house, redorate a little bit, slap their name on it as if they lived in it and then up the price by millions of dollars There should be laws against this abuse on homes intended for dwelling, like a number of years you have to wait to flip Also the CEOs taking advantage of currency exchange and manipulating stock market. I see the earth under one global currency one day but It cant be establishment by liberals, no way. Probaly under Gods govt will be set up to establish this. |

User ID: 76618422 United States 10/29/2018 02:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I wonder if any of these "elite" realize that it would be easier for a camel to travel through the eye of a needle, then for any of these money and power worshipers to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Especially with the world's most truthful Man having warned them of that. Nope... They'll just continue in their folly, believing that transhumanism is going to somehow give them "immortality". They believe their true master, who told them, "Thou, shall not surely die." Well, guess what. I've got news for ya, guys. Thou SHALL surely die, after an intense period of weeping, wailing, and gnashing your teeth. And many of those "cattle" that you thought you owned will live in paradise forever. Enjoy your remaining time, Mr. and Mrs. "elite". Anonymous Coward User ID: 77064257 United States 10/29/2018 02:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It has to do with globalization, the billionaires own global companies which continue to expand their market to reach every country and buy up their competitors. Wont be long until there is basically a global triopoly or duopoly for nearly every field. Quoting: Cardiak Then incorrect decisions will have even more far reaching consequences. |
