I throw on railfan.com while I'm listening to music and watching sports on TV. I watched that train roar through Tehachapi Depot Railroad Museum site couple days ago. In the rear was a CANADIAN locomotive pushing. It was an awesome site of hundreds of millions of dollars of Abrams.

At least 60MPH. That's roaring, if not flying. Nobody is going to jump on that train and live.

I disagree- I think it sends the appropriate message: Break the laws of our country by way of illegal invasion - and we reserve the right to unleash the full power of the United States Military upon you.

I seriously doubt we are putting tanks on the border.

From what I hear reported, the military is just going to be there as a support group for border patrol. Setting up tents to house the illegals in. Sounds like they will just be letting them in and corralling them.

Going to cost us billions to keep these invaders and our troops there. Congress should have spent it on the Wall. Think of the billions we would be saving in just a couple of years.

You see posts like this every once in awhile.
Someone usually figures out where the shipment came from and is headed within an hour or two.

Like someone else said, these were probably being serviced?refurbished somewhere, and in the process of delivery.

I love the idea of a heavy military presence on the border for a few years. It is a perfect way to send a perfect message and would work more effectively and efficiently than a wall. Who is going to want to cross the border if they know the most well-trained fighters with the highest tech equpiment in the entire world are waiting to pick you off like apples in a barrel the second you cross? Problem solved.

Exactly, the Chinese did it. Brought up a whole regiment of tanks along their southern border with North Korea. They didn't want the horde of Norks going north and entering their country illegally, when things could have turned bad for little kimmie...

Headed for an NTC rotation. Not the border. M-1's are refurbished in Texas, I believe. They're not making them anymore, so they keep upgrading and rebuilding the old ones.

If I were Mexico, I would be very careful. I, personally, would not want a major superpower convening a large military force at my border. If Trump wanted to, he could use that Caravan for cover to build up a military presence to take Mexico's ass with. Can't say they wouldn't deserve it for pushing all their poor on us for the last several decades.
