The take me back, 60's sound to me was just after The Beatles debuted in '63 till '67 or so pre Yardbirds.


1965, age 10 walking to school, this on my pocket transistor radio




1966, The opening guitar riff and the middle 8 bar, bass throb section was pure 60's flashback.




Don't hear this one much anymore ..




San Francisco's Beau Brummels had the tremelo sound following a Beatles like guitar in the middle 8.
