Strangely, the shooter himself supposedly wanted gun control. I didn't see a thread on GLP about this, but according to CNN, the shooter had a final Facebook post in which he said he's insane and implied gun control is necessary to stop such shootings.
Quoting: MXS Apparently back in April he had a run-in with the police who are called because he was depressed and acting out. At that point they should’ve taken his guns.
