Strangely, the shooter himself supposedly wanted gun control. I didn't see a thread on GLP about this, but according to CNN, the shooter had a final Facebook post in which he said he's insane and implied gun control is necessary to stop such shootings.
Quoting: MXS Cali is like Chicago, very strict gun control soooo should we all bury our guns and pray that flowers grow? No, we need nutjob control.
