How Does a Double Blind Study Work?

* Participants are blind
They are not aware of the actual nature of the study, or exactly what they are receiving: medication or placebo.

* Administrators are blind
They are also not aware of the express nature of the study or whether they are administering an active chemical ingredient or a placebo.

The net effect of a properly constructed double blind study is that there is no clear way for the participants or the administrators to influence the study for any reason. Of course, this is not always the reality, but it is the objective.

How Does a Decentralized Market Work?

* Consumers are blind
They are not able to know who their providers are, and must rely on other signals, like referrals or reviews to establish trust.

* Providers are blind
Sellers or providers cannot tell who is buying or why (in the general case). They must rely on the selling infrastructure to market, usually based on asynchronous feedback.

* Administrators are blind
Administrators are instructed to simply rate comments, purchases, commonly frequented sites / locations / events. The ratings have to do with things like political slant, perspective of deity, perspective of government, etc. Administrators do not have access to identifying information.

* Participants are blind
Participants in this case are targets. They are people who score a certain way when analyzed by the Administrators. They have no idea they are targeted, and when the attack occurs, it seems completely random, unprovoked, or accidental.

* Consumers are blind
In this case, the consumers are the ones directing the "war" by having access to (a) the Administrator's data and (b) the meta data generated by the targets. They do not know the Administrators, and do not know the Providers (combatants) except by a history of successful / unsuccessful missions. In many cases they do not even know the Participants (targets) as the targets are just persons that are "scored" a certain way by the Administrators.

* Providers are blind
Providers in this case are combatants. They are given targets, objectives, and reward allocations. They have no idea who the target is or why they are targeted.

How it works

The Consumers (war generals) can give the Providers (combatants) future locations of the Participants (targets). Information like street intersections, park, dog walks, etc. These can be provided with very high accuracy because all phone / internet / credit card meta data has been collected, analyzed and distilled for more than 5 years at this point.

The Provider (combatant) can be provided with a selection of an enormous amount of information including photos of the target, car make / model, age, height, skin color... everything. For instance, when the next Amazon package will be delivered, etc.

Upon successful execution of the attack, the combatant will be rewarded with knowledge of a key to a safe deposit box, keys to a car, full credit card info (probably on the target's person), location of a home where the Participant (target) will of course not be, etc.

Many parts of the operation can be automated. Almost all of the Administrator (psyche profile analyst) role can be automated, and much of the Consumer role (war general) can be automated.

The most problematic aspect is that of the Provider (combatant). The Provider (combatant) needs to have no personal empathy for the Participant (target). Gang members of a different language group, race, and religion are ideal.

How to avoid it

Disconnect. The less meta-data that exists for you as a person, the less visible you are.

Multi-connect. If you use more than one phone, internet connection, computer, car, credit card (especially in different names), the more confusing your identity is.

Move. Now is the time to move, to change, to disrupt your signal, because this tech is just coming live. It depends on you being consistent.

Older Vehicle: Use a vehicle that is made in 2010 or before. This almost ensures that there is no satellite tracking in the vehicle, although GM had universal OnStar in 2008.

Gray man. Learn how to be the gray man in every part of your life.

Consume less. Learn how to buy in bulk, cook from scratch, write snail mail, go all in Luddite.
