Mohammed bin Salman: Not reinterpreting Islam, but restoring it to its origins

One of the more fundamental subject he tackled was that of the interpretation of Islam, which has been a matter of debate in recent times.

So when Trump says Assad has used chemical weapons against his own people and he then says it is the duty of the US to punish Assad with military intervention, that's perfectly ok?

But when it comes to a murdered US resident in Khashoggi who was about to reveal Saudi involvement in chemical weapon use in Yemen it is suddenly "not our circus, not our monkeys". Got it.

First: Khashoggi was apparently a rogue intelligence agent. Frankly, rogue agents are executed all the time--by the Americans, British, Russians, Chinese, etc. No one bats an eyelash. Local law enforcement is sternly told to report it as a suicide, an accident, a botched robbery, or whatever; and the press is just as sternly told to swallow the cover story and not ask questions.

Second: The CIA is, quite simply, a team of professional liars. Why in the world would anyone believe a thing that the CIA says?
