It wasn't a 1 ton truck it was a 3/4 ton. A 4 wheeler could have done the same thing.

4 wheel drive means 1 in the front and 1 in the back (depending on the rear axle.

for the most part ... any vehicle in wet mud and when the tires threads get filled up with the mud - is essentially stuck - the trick is DON"T stop in wet mud / got to keep it moving (but in a grass/mud parking lot ... your parking in it)

Yeah I love having to pull the entire engine to replace a head gasket (and boy do the head gaskets ever give out on these).

Subaru is based on cheap gimmicks that fool idiots. That's why they market to the people they market to.

If you watch the wheels spin, you can see that the car has a smarter 4WD control system.

Learn how to do vehicle maintenance and you won't have to bitch so much. I went way over 300,000 km on a subaru 2.5 and never had head issues. Included tons of -40 C cold starts by the way.

Also, it looks like the ford has street tires...They are useless in the mud

If you have a Travel Trailer there is no way a car can haul them of course.
