these Mexicans depend on tourist dollars - mostly rich suburban college kids who won't come if the streets are clogged with refugees and robbers around every corner. They won't fuck around and the unwanted will either leave or die in short order.
People's jaws are going to drop. They think Americans are savages. we're a bunch of do-nothings afraid to lose everything we worked a lifetime for. These people don't have shit to lose.

Areas of Tijuana the tourists see are kept very clean, with workers openly using bottled water to sanitize the restaurants.
