Agree, and it's not a joke. It's a matter of equal protection of the laws. If women are protected against genital mutilation, men should also be.

I'm Jewish, circumcision is a Jewish procedure (as well as Muslim) and still I say this.

His ruling was that this is not appropriate for federal statutes; that it should be criminalized at the state level if at all.

And Michigan has just passed a law against FGM (but not circumcision) so you should be happy. Helpless little girls will continue to be more protected than helpless little boys in Michigan.

Those procedures are abuse and mutilation. The judge that allows it, the parents that ask for it, and the doctor that performs it should all be jailed.

If the person chooses to have it done when they are an adult and free to consent, that's their business but this is child abuse.

When the minimum wage first came up it was found to be unconstitutional because it took away a persons right to contract with an employer.

I'm just saying that the constitution can be interpreted almost anyway that they want it to read at that time.

Judge states that FGM is barbaric but he's going by US LAW.

Problem here is that his interpretation doesn't take into consideration the INVASION of Muslims in regards to that LAW.

Literal interpretation. We need some judges with balls who understand the situation.

Military courts are way different. So maybe wartime LAW is better for us now????

Forskin is not an organ in itself, but it's still sexually functioning tissue. It's rich in nerves, and when it is removed the experience of sex is much less intense.

I find it extremely hypocritical that there are people here who are so up in arms about FGM but turn the other way when it comes to male circumcision. There is no excuse for male infant circumcision. Circumcision should only be done in rare occasions to resolve rare medical problems, or by choice for adult males.

Hope that Judicial Watch can can rectify the judge’s terrible decision and bring them all to justice.
