Yeah they're the ducks guts alright. Had a few over the years but they are hard to get hold of now. Chinese and Americans bought everything up and they fetch a good price. Especially something like the one in your link, worth a squid or two.

yep,,the time of year you travel to certain areas is key.melbourne in the springtime,tropics in the winter,stick to the coast @ summertime.

Canada is pretty much the same (other than the heat & snakes).
Shame really.

I did a year and a half work just out of Warrnambool and their summer lasted about 2 weeks
Rained sideways the rest of the time, loved it! Tassie I imagine would be even better.

Most other times I'm in the central outback hanging out with Betty Swollocks.

Best time to visit the tropics is winter, as some one said, this time of the year is cyclone season, and stinger season. When it isn't raining it is scorching hot, when it does rain it is torrential with flooding, when it stops raining the humidity is unbearable and the mozzies and cane toads come out. Stingers are way worse than they sound, November to start of April brings box jelly fish, which kill within minutes in extreme agony. They put up stinger nets on the beaches, but then the irrikanji arrived, and those little buggers are smaller than the nail on your pinky finger and can get through the nets. They are not as lethal as the box jelly, but have a venom that takes a while to kick in, and when it does it is described as unbearable pain, that does not respond to morphine or any know pain relief. People die of heart failure from the pain.

Then there are the salt water crocodiles, but they are here all year round. Sharks are always about too, but people up here are more worried about crocodiles generally.

Apart from all that, I like living in the tropics of Queensland.

spent 2 weeks in the bool.rained every day.ballarat is a shithole.
idk some days melbourne is a prison,others its an open asylum,usually its the zombie apocalypse.i have to smear myself in zombie guts just to walk amongst them.
but in the burbs,by myself its fine.i dont even speak chinese so no one bothers me.

i spend winters in qld now.dont like cold,no blubber.

Melbourne such a great city, best places to eat, great pubs, go out, do different kinds of things.. Trams! but yeah not short of a nut case. lol. disproportionate amount of libtards too. I do enjoy Radelaide but they're shut down and in bed by 16:30

Taiwanese who go to America kind of come back conceited dickbags. Not obviously, but there's a definite vibe about them.

Taiwanese who go to Australia come back decent people.
