God helps those who help themselves.
Yes you can pray and get get right with God or whatever spiritual praying you do.
It's a lot easier to pray to God if you have a full belly and a plan to keep it that way.
Demons or people will try to take your can of beans. Now if you are not a complete sheep....you can protect yourself from those demons and people with a gun and a full belly of fight.

LOL Fasting is fine as long as it's by choice. Starving because you didn't plan......now that's not helping anyone. The pope is Idol worship plain and simple. They worship a cross and money! They are not holy. Jesus said it only takes two people to be a church for god. People are misguided by praying to the pope, and to symbols like the cross. Pray to your god, but have a gun, some ammo, a fishing rod, and some food. The question really is, are you a lowly street beggar asking your god for help, or are you a planner that is thanking your god for the skills to survive another day!
