I used to paint figures back in the day... fantasy though, not 40k. I have a decent collection of the older models stored away. From the era when they still made them out of metal.

Couldn't agree more friend, keep well yourself & all who you hold dear safe & sound. I'm on my own here but I have been keeping in touch with family & friends daily.

I was more into the 40k nimmerfall but I would have loved to have collected the fantasy range too.
I have a few armies painted up & used to game with the staff at my place at the weekends 30 years ago.
We played with the 2nd edition rules so way back.
I have loads of figurines that were long since discontinued & was a fairly decent painter & would have helped
the staff paint new releases for their display cases & was gave loads of free mini's for doing so.

Playing a bit of metal now for a few.

My hubby used to collect the figures (made of metal), but though the years he's unintentionally parted with them, which sucks... I've considered painting figurines myself but, my husband and kiddo take up all my time. I barely have any to myself let alone enough time to pursue a hobby...

Howdy neighbor <3 good morning from here winging its way to you there. Figurine painting is a wonderful relaxing hobby but can be a very time consuming pastime to take up.
That's a shame to know that Mr TDP2 lost a lot of the figures he had collected & painted.

do you know that came as part of a 2-disc set. I is metal and O is ambient.
