Typical of me, this song falls in the "and Sometimes Neither" category. But maybe someone might enjoy it nonetheless.

This song was written by Neil Young for the McGovern for Prez 1972 campaign, and features David Crosby and Graham Nash (not sure about Stills-- he had an "off and on" relationship with Neil during this period) and is a pretty wicked cool off-label 'single' which is not widely known.

Don't be fooled by the YT video graphics-- this is an old-school Neil tune, which was only officially (re-)released on his Archives project rather recently. Otherwise its about 50 years old and, after the Nixon vs. McGovern election, has not been widely disseminated.

I first heard it from a pricey (NYC) bootleg back in the early 2000s, and would like to share it with you now.

Title: War Song

Speacial shout-out to Too Dark Park for her words of wisdom and advice to me, and to Fraust66 for his never-ending supply of positive good cheer. I owe a lot to you both, as a poster on GLP, for your being so nice to me as you always have.

Thank you both, most absolutely sincerely
