Like what? Kewlness?

Develop those applicable functions, and then I might invest in those applicable functions of blockchain technology.

But I'm not going to invest in a non-currency and uncommodity that is a de facto ponzi scheme.

It's like a chicken telling you that the eggs they might lay are going to be 'great', and then never laying any.

I think it's pretty clear by now based on your comments in this thread that YOU have no idea what it is... but don't assume everyone to possess the same knowledge-base as you.

I could go on for hours about it, and I'm just one. Everything digital IS going into blockchain. You asked earlier for companies that are actually putting blockchain technology to use? Then you said there weren't any? LOLOLOLOL. You know nothing bud, and could do well with a few quick google searches. Look at Dragonchain for example, about to roll out a fully decentralized-forum product, working on voting solutions, selling their SERVICES to fortune 500 companies entirely dependent of any "cryptocurrency" token. Look at IBM. Look at amazon, Microsoft, google, etc all incorporating blockchain tech into their services, products, and payrolls. It's not the currency aspect you should be concerned for, it is the utility of what these technologies have to offer, bc dumbass loudmouth idiots such as yourself are about to be steamrolled.

It has no intrinsic value, so as far as "how low will it go", I'd say zero.

Sounds like a lot of folks falling for the sunk cost fallacy. In every pyramid scheme, there's always a large chunk of people in denial, and a bunch of early schemers who made out like bandits.

To everyone saying "blockchain is the future." Yeah, I don't disagree -- however, you don't get to choose which blockchain. The elite will do that for you. If you think they're going to adopt YOUR favorite blockchain, and make you rich, you are no student of history.

Can you name one specific instance in which bitcoin (or any other crypto for that matter) has ever been hacked?

No? I can't either.

Yeah I feel bad for people too stupid to not understand the value of decentralized versus centralized security/exchanges/modes of storage/etc ... but if they don't understand that simple difference they probably do not have much business in crypto in the first place.

As far as me feeling bad about the money I made??? U kidding? No, I don't feel bad one bit. Soon I start buying en masse ridiculous amounts of tokens I know to be of solid foundation and with a long-term aim and infinite room to growth (Dragonchain, for example)... and the whole ball gets rolling again.

The ones I feel really baad for are the ones who have no understanding of patterns through time. BTC and most cryptos have seen huge gains and huge losses over and over and over.... but why don't u take a look at bitcoin's chart from 2009 on, see if you notice a general trend in terms of usd price. I'll give you a clue, it's hard to miss.

Right here sir. I'm not calling for a milly. But by 2020 Bitcoin will be over 100k.

Way too much institutional infrastructure is being put into place with Bakkt, Fidelity, Mastercard and payment processors all having the vision to see the future. Cryptos will replace the SWIFT system and make it obsolete. This is a revolution that is a cross between when the internet became widely available and when credit cards were first introduced to the public.

Most people don't get what crypto is. It's a much MUCH better system of currency. Instead of using fiat dollars which are created out of thin air at the whim of The Fed and no one has a clue how many are in circulation, every crypto coin is accountable for. Also it's a trustless system of currency that eliminates any need for a middleman to send large quantities for one person to the next. Or one business to the next.

Right now the dollar is worth about 1% of what is was when The Fed was created. With fiat they have been robbing you of your wealth everyday and you don't even realize it through inflation. This is not possible with crypto. The prices are volatile now, but eventually will stabalize when it becomes the main means of exchange. But by then you will have missed the boat.

It IS the future regardless of any price action right now. If you are smart you'll buy up as much as you can now.

I never said Bitcoin being hacked, I said the BUYERS have been, and I can't count how many stories since it's inception I've read about those who bought, just checked their wallet in the morning to be emptied out like a cat burglar, so please don't be asinine! Who wants to invest in something that can be stolen from you so clandestine like, only HIGH risk takers. Smart investors are going to think twice.

We've come a long way since then. Now we know to keep our wallets off of our computers, and to make multiple backups.

See how easy that is?

Good for you! You rode a highly speculative and volatile bubble, that had an EXTREMELY narrow window to get through with the 1000's that lost everything to hacking along the way...feel good about yourself ?

Can you name one specific instance in which bitcoin (or any other crypto for that matter) has ever been hacked?

No? I can't either.

Yeah I feel bad for people too stupid to not understand the value of decentralized versus centralized security/exchanges/modes of storage/etc ... but if they don't understand that simple difference they probably do not have much business in crypto in the first place.
