Scientists have discovered evidence of a low-altitude meteor explosion that took place North of the Dead Sea around 3,700 years ago.

A team excavating the Bronze Age city of Tall El-Hammam for the past 13 years discovered that the mud-brick walls of nearly all structures suddenly disappeared, leaving only stone foundations.

The experts have looked at all of the evidence and have identified this ancient city of Tall El-Hamman as the Biblical Sodom of the Old Testament.

Makes sense -- the Tunguska blast has been conservatively estimated at c.10megatons in equivalent yield. Other than some scattered Siberian tribes, the region of Tunguska is essentially uninhabited, even today. I'm sure that if such a blast had incinerated an area populated by comparatively primitive people, survivors fleeing the destruction would certainly see it as the wrath of an angry god.

And they would in fact make record of it!

Air blast explosions are very difficult to prove, its an interesting idea though, and hope they can do more research to verify it. The scary part is how many impact type events seem to have occurred in the recent past because if something similar occurred today, our much greater and denser population would take massive damage, millions could die, and it seems they occur far more often than anybody has guessed at in the past.

Just some clarification for some of you speculating in the comments on the various stories surrounding Sodom & Gomorrah:
One version of the story says they were destroyed because of their wickedness, but another version is that wickedness was their way of saying “pagan.” And another version is that it wasn’t wickedness as we know it, but unwelcomeness/ inhospitable to strangers, something traditionally frowned upon by Arab cultures to this day, who value treating guests very well. Note that the Sumerian version of this incident (which predates the Bible) involved a feud between the Enki & Enlil clans of the Anunnaki, as part of the Pyramid Wars. Ancient alien people say that the proposed meteor strike was actually a nuclear bomb going off, destroying ground zero, but also a radioactive cloud drifting back taking out the aggressors in Sumer. And it is true that around the same time the “Cities of the Plain” were destroyed, the Sumerian civilization did indeed mysteriously collapse. As Graham Hancock says, “We are a species with amnesia.”

It seems the Northern Hemisphere was strafed by meteors, there is also huge crater beyond the Urals also your Greenland Crater.

Long story short! This planet we live on is not a stable one!!

Did you know there are religions where there Myths have accurate accounts of eclipses and planets and constellations that can be traced back to exact dates and times, pls you need to do a video of this.

I have seen previous docu's showing a charcoal layer in this area.

Sounds very plausible. Every biblical disaster like this one has a natural cause.

How is a meteor catastrophe not the wrath of God?

Meteorites do not contain sulfur....and ancient Sodom is actually still "intact" as far as shapes and streets are concerned.

Not including the ground there literally turned to brimstone or sulfur, forgot which, matching biblical records in Middle East, not including the ancient Map of Sodom and Gommorah on it.

Sorry pal but this story is a crock. The real Sodom and Gomorrah was found back in the eighties and the Arabs will not go there to this day, just like the Bible states. You can still dig out the sulfur balls from the ruins and they will still burn. This type of sulfur is distinctly one of a kind and is only found in this location, and nowhere else.
They’ve been pushing this false story for years and now you’re spreading it as well? Based on some other questionable stuff you’ve put out before I think I’ll just take my sub back and say adios. I prefer truth to fiction.
