RADM Stearney USN 5thFLT - Found dead in Bahrain. Hmm...

Hey GLPers! I've got another one for you all. Perhaps this was already posted on the forum and I didn't see it, but here it is nonetheless.

Rear Admiral Scott Stearny- USN 5th Fleet, was discovered dead in his place of residence in Bahrain. It was ruled as an "apparent suicide". Hmmm...



This reminds me of SCOTUS Justice Scalise in a roundabout way. It may be nothing, but it could be something. There are so many damn questions I have running in my head over this seemingly, "insignificant" event. I say that because the MSM didn't run the story. It came over the wire to the online news outlets. Why would an Admiral commit allegedly, suicide? Was he involved in something that was too deep for him to handle? Was there potential for incriminating scandal? Perhaps he didn't agree with something of such extreme significance and he took himself out of the equation? OR HE knew something very heavy was coming and didn't agree with it? Voiced opposition. Perhaps he was going to blow the Bosun's Pipe loudly on something what was and/or is, going to cost the U.S. and civilians in major lives?

I don't know. Perhaps it really was suicide. All I am saying is this is very very strange and somewhat unsettling. What say you GLP? All commentary is welcome. Something about this doesn't sit right with me.
