Does Anyone Have VERIZON for CELL PHONE Service Provider?
I'm thinking of moving from Sprint because they suck. We are grandfathered into an unlimited plan that doesn't slow down after a data limit. Last month, we used over 200Gb since we hotspot at home after dumping Comcast, because they suck too. Has been working out ok.

Verizons top plan says they may limit speeds after 75Gb. I'm wondering if that is actually the case, or just if the network is congested...and how often that actually happens.

Thanks for any info on Verizon as well, in terms of coverage and non-suckage

They throttle the speed so low that email will work and web browsing will work painfully slow.

However, the slower speed is useless for streaming anything.

Sprint has great deals if you have been with them since early 2000's -- otherwise it is a crap shoot.

I hate the new lease plans on phones. But did get my iPad for 4 bucks a month (and own in 2 years). So again crap shoot.

Skip Verizon and go Straighttalk - SAME CELL TOWERS!

Buy any phone at WalMart that had "CDMA" on package - That's Verizon!!!

Half price Network!

My friend has Verizon company phone and I have straighttalk - MOST times same number of bars reception - sometimes he has more - sometimes I do - but Mostly he does because his phone is a lot newer than mine

$55 card a month = UNLIMITED text talk data plan

Yeah, that's the thing. Been with Sprint since 2008 lol...Went with them after Verizon sent me a roaming bill for $5500 after a trip to China...and I had only been checking emails and texts lol.

Sprint was pretty good up until a few years ago when they started sticking a bunch of extra charges on my bill and never responded to my requests for an explanation...probably because there was none. They also have two extra lines on the bill we don't use.

Coverage is very good and we run a ton of data through for personal and business. Also PDA net is a great hotspot hack and no extra charge

Sounds like Verizon sticks pretty close to the caps, then shift to 2G lol

Yeah, I looked at that yesterday. They also had some pretty cheap samsung galaxy j3 phones, but they got sketchy reviews.

The unlimited plan we have with sprint is $129 for first line and $19 for each addl line. We have 8 lines so it works out to $33/line/month for true unlimited...which is a great deal

I have Verizon Wireless here in NYC and have been a customer of theirs since New York Bell became NYNEX, then Bell Atlantic, Then Verizon.

In my opinion, based on service here in the New York City area, there is no finer cellular carrier anywhere.

Far and away, Verizon is reliable, fast, and has excellent coverage both indoors and out.

I recommend them.

Spectrum has added cell service and have an unlimited plan for $45. I believe they will also be using Verizons towers. I have not tried it out though so can't say if it's good or bad service, but maybe worth looking into.

Re: Does Anyone Have VERIZON for CELL PHONE Service Provider?
Yes, they do.

If you're in the military or a veteran you can get 4 lines with unlimited data 22gb, text, and voice for 40 a line. It costs me 133 dollars a month. All lines are treated as separate line under my plan. Meaning, I have 88 gig total.

For 50 a line, you get no slow downs up to 22gb with voice and text to Canada and Mexico.

For 60 a month, you get 75gb with no slow down with voice and text to Canada and Mexico.

After you hit your limit, you are throttled. I believe their is a cap on the hotspot but I'm not sure how much it it. I want to say it's 20gb.

I moved from Verizon to Sprint for cell phone service.

I could not get a reception on my cell phone in my home. I would have to stand outside in rain and snow to talk. Switched to Sprint and I have no problem inside the house... I love it.

I also switched from Verizon TV and land phone to Comcast. So much better than Verizon!

I really think it's where you live. I was on T-Mobile before I moved and I couldn't get a signal unless I went 2 miles down the road. Probably depend on what cell site are near you. The only two that work in my area is Verizon and ATT. Both still need a network extender or VOIP.

US Mobile has the same basic thing, but you can bring your own smart phone, just change out the sim card.
You can choose either the GSM or LTE network,( if your phone will work on either one.)
It is a pre pay and you can do other plans and pick and choose what you want.
It allows for a lot of customization of your plan, if you don't go with an "unlimited" one.
You pay through their website, so there is no searching for a card or location to buy extra minutes and monthly renewals can be set up on auto pay.

I left Verizon, because I did not use enough of their basic plan.
US Mobile saves me a lot and I still have the good coverage of that higher priced network.
Might be worth checking out.
I don't figure it would please every one, but it did me.

I would also look into Spectrum. Their new mobile plan Sounds great. I have their internet and home phone service with almost no problems. My problems were on my cable box, not the service itself so... Im going to switch from ATT soon and think im gunna go with spectrum myself

Re: Does Anyone Have VERIZON for CELL PHONE Service Provider?
I have Verizon. I have an Ipad that I use as a mobile hotspot.
I had to go outside to talk on the phone and could not get internet unless I was next to a window.

I purchased a SureCall Fusion4Home Yagi/Panel, Cell Phone Signal Booster Kit. The best investment. I went from having to chase signals outside to streaming on a Firestick. After I use up my 16GB, it will slow down usually around 8:00pm at night. I would not trade it for any other service.

I purchased the unit through Amazon but I'm sure you can search and find one compatable.
