User ID: 76782949 United States 12/06/2018 08:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here's the sticking point for me with all of this, women never make advances. They literally wait for men to make the approach and use that as the first test. Quoting: Destruction/Resurrection Look, I'm 27 and in my attempt to simply do what women have telegraphed I must do to impress them, I've been a little bit of a creep in the past, but only because I was awkward and inexperienced. I don't quite know how to respond to this, but if women (or at least as women used to be) like you, you will know it. And women (how they used to be) often do make advances. Whether you recognize them or not is on you, and whether you find them attractive or not, is also on you. Luckily, I'm old enough that these things are no longer my issues, but I do remember. A lot of women never express that interest, to the point where I would bet most men go years without receiving an advance. In modern times I think men get the impression that going a long time without a relationship is abnormal and they get frustrated if it happens to them. One answer to this, which is flying around in our culture, is you have to have "game", or "swag", which black and hispanic people like to call it, where you need to approach a woman and act a certain way and this is the reason why so many men don't receive advances, because women are actually turned on by a guy who acts the prescribed way. They can't steal the sunset. |

Lol! Fast forward to 2:30 to see the whole story here! It is just a cute little story about romance and putting up some resistance but really wanting to stay! They did not watch the whole thing! They jump to conclusions and I suppose one can find something wrong with anything if analyzed from a warped perspective. "They" can go ahead and not play the song. They are infants who don't even know what they are crying about! I am going to play this song extra this year! I enjoy it and have always thought it was a sweet, cute, sexy, little song! Let US not let THEM disturb our peace and happiness. Merry Christmas! Last Edited by Triteia on 12/06/2018 09:10 PM Triteia |

"Say, what's in this drink, no cabs to be had out there I wish I knew how, your eyes are like starlight now To break this spell, I'll take your hat, your hair looks swell" Bill Cosby right thru. I swear, do you all live in a vacuum? This is bad, been around for years -1949. Sang by a witch now. The answer to your question is an emphatic yes. Unfortunately, what I see in the main on this thread isn't just plain ignorance; rather, it's willful ignorance, which is far worse because it can't be cured. |

User ID: 77142972 United States 12/08/2018 10:12 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It’s cold outside isn’t really a Christmas song. Never really liked it so I don’t care. Actually a lot of the Christmas songs are goofy and distract from the birth of Christ. I bet retailers who listen to those goofy songs year after year on the edge of insanity are probably relieved when another song gets bumped off the playlist. Don’t mes with the nativity scene or joy to the world or any of the songs that praise Christ’s birth. Holding to dumb songs from the 50s isn’t worth the effort. |

User ID: 33877339 United States 12/08/2018 05:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was going to do a blog post about this, but I didn't have the energy, so let me surmise... Quoting: Turtle Flower Woman came to the man's apartment during a snow storm for some flirting, drinks, or more ... She likes the man, or else she wouldn't be there ... She came to his apartment on her own, not like she needed a ride to get home ... ie., she wasn't tied up in the basement. She wants him, and wants him to want her. She wants him to tell her how much he wants her. I think this generation doesn't understand how relationships between men and women used to be. Now everything is an assault. I have been disappointed by some of my friends pointing this song out as abuse, but I remember being young, when you want to be with another, and worry if you'll make it home in time. I think this songs pisses the new generation off because they are unsure of their sexuality, and if they want a man - it must be abuse. In the song, the woman, alone, is in a man's apartment, I guess she just wanted to watch football, lol, even though it was recorded in the 40's when no one had TV. All this is to push forward an agenda that most heterosexuals understand, but is now wrong. How dare he not understand that she wants to leave, but she keeps not leaving? It's cold outside, don't you want to stay - is now abuse. None of us of my age would have been born if men were not stronger than women, and women finally surrendering into what they want is not rape. Tired of SJWs, and soy boys and girls. Hell when I was a kid I liked the song because it spoke of a sexy, romantic evening with the man I loved, nowadays you can't want a man and if you do you are being abused. Rant off The cognitive dissonance in our culture is astonishing. No "Its Cold Outside ", ut 10yr olds mimic Niki Minaj's Anaconda. I'm 56, and have been listening to oldies Christmas songs for almost all of that time. I never heard this song until the last few years. Maybe it fell out of the rotation in the mid60s, and only came back because everybody and his brother had to play Christmas tunes from Halloween on? What comes around? Have you heard sixteen year olds singing Santa Babt in church Christmas programs? It’s meant to be sultry, a mistress asking her sugar daddy for luxury gifts, back when being a sugar baby was a little bit naughty. They ruin a good old fashioned song. Totally miss the fifties repression that gives nuance to “so hurry down the chimney tonight”. |

Quoting: Ned Flanders I used to feel this way until, I learned that December 25th is not Yeshua's birthday. It is most of the pagan gods birthdays though. I feel God wants to no way be associated with the pagan gods. I just see as a pagan holiday and nothing Christian about it. We are very deceived into thinking we are honoring God when in fact we are doing the opposite. That's my opinion for what it's worth. |

Trying to normalize sexual predation, a felony in every state, isn't 'controversial;' it's criminal mischief. If we're talking about the same bunch best known for trying to own royalties to works they haven't the wit to create themselves - which is why they're obsessed with owning everybody else's - it's no surprise that anything they promote must have a heaping dose of degeneracy. Just one of many offenses for which they've been driven out of every country they've infested through the centuries. |
