What gift are you most excited about giving this year?

I found a vintage 1940 Oscar Schmidt Acoustic guitar at a thrift shop. I am giving it to my husband for Christmas.It is worth about 4 times what I paid for it, a very good deal. He plays, and he collects old guitars.I know he will like it ! :)

its cliche but in my circumstance its true. Just to give the background I moved from my hometown 6 yrs ago and not just a few minutes or miles away 2000 miles away. havent seen my core family since and they are coming up this year so the greatest gift im getting this year is my family

I remember getting my first guitar for Christmas years ago when I was in high school. I loved it.. and fortunately I still have it and enjoy playing it. My step-dad had a brown wood-patters "Celebrity" by Ovation that I was tinkering with a lot at the time, and I got a black "Applause" made by the same company.

That is super cool of you to have found something like that for him.

I was thinking, it's nice to get to enjoy that moment of seeing him open the gift, for him to realize what it is and be grateful for it.. and for you as well. I was thinking that it will feel extra good as he gets to appreciate and make music with your gift over the years, and how you get to re-live that generous and appreciated feeling as your gift continues to bring joy to him and to your household.

It sounds like he has quite the selection to choose from when he decides to pick up a guitar to play, but I think that there can be a kind of warmth and love attached to instruments like that, and I just wish for both of you the joy that can come from what will make that guitar a little extra special.

There is so much in this world that we can take for granted sometimes. Thank you for that reminder of how nice it can be to have a loving family make the time and take the initiative to be together. I know that "family" can mean different things to each of us, but there is no doubt that taking time to appreciate our family can have its own rewards, and I just wanted to thank you for sharing and wish you and your family a wonderful time together this year.

Giving one of my son-in-laws a killer gamer desktop. Cost a lot but I can swing it and have knowing how my daughter and son-in-law will appreciate it makes my day.

Cockroaches can spit out kids and they probably even have some level of roach support. I am going anti-human in this quest to give.

Picked up 2 of these for 2 sets of nieces and nephews.

I think they're gonna love it.

Giving my 11 year old grandson a CZ455 scout .22 cal rifle. He is in 4H marksman activity and this is his first rifle.
