Yep you are correct. Younger people are "braver" then older ones. In the last years of WW1 the Germans used alot of young children/adults in their elite storm units since they had no fear and had less to lose.

The older generation had a family and wanted to go home.

I have been to Paris and other parts of France four times, which is a lot for a middle class American. The French people have always gone out of their way to be kind and helpful to me, and I have a warm spot in my heart for you.

My daughter and I traveled there for her 10th birthday a few years ago (she even studied the language for 2 years prior!), and I am still moved to tears remembering the special things that random Paris folks did for us during that trip.

I am both sad and excited for all of you with all of this.

I know this isn't the free shit army, these are the working stiffs that are tired of getting looted to pay for the free shit army. In the U.S. the free shit army are the ones usually rioting in the streets because the people working to support them can't afford to take off to riot. In this case the working stiff has had enough and decides to finally defend the looting they are being subject to. I sure hope they prevail.
