Re: Did anyonele else know a 50 mile superconductor was being built in Texas?
They SAID it was canceled

Who knows

CERN can only operate in the summer because it takes so much power the people wouldn't have enough heat in winter

Of course they picked TEXAS - which has power and land

Why was it closed ?
 Quoting: Theobromine The Deplorable

that is a very long article at the link... went through dozens of pages here is what I found:

original budget went up 30% because they decided on technical change although slight increased costs.

it was political... lots of mention of political fighting.

the USA would have been world leader in this field and had already spent a good deal of money on this project.

I think the NWO communists thwarted it myself since the article does not go there... why did it end up as a socialist European project instead?

Yes.

They scrapped it, and built CERN instead.

Yes, beautiful historic houses.

Was on my list of possible towns to buy a house for our return to Texas, but ended up in BCS instead. Whoop!
 Quoting: Lady Jane Smith

I went to high school in Waxahachie during the years they were doing land acquisition for this project. It was very unpopular idea and not welcomed by anyone but the science teacher at the high school iirc.

I just moved back to Texas after a decade in NZ and I am pretty close to BCS myself.

A lot of Texans on GLP.

I love the area. We lived in Dallas before getting sucked back into the Potomac Black hole, but I just decided I could not deal with the lack of trees, the droughts, the incessant winds, the Dallas culture, and told Mr. LJS we would look elsewhere. Found a great house, for a great price in BCS (doing a good bit of updating) in an awesome neighborhood. The town has things to do, but is not so populated that getting around is painful, it actually rains, and has TREES!!

I think it would be a great end of days hideout for some billionaire to buy and develelop, if it's got that many tunnels. It is intersting to see the locals chiming in. I'm in Lubbock and have been through Waxahachie many times and never knew about this.

China has supposedly been constructing one that's more than twice the size of CERN for several years now. These devices do not bode well for our planet and it's survival.

yes and we have all seen the satanic ritual videos at Cern on youtube... that is NWO communists.. I think this would never be under their control unless they scuttled the USA project and move that funding to the EU's efforts.

Assuming here that the USA partly pays for CERN... is that true?

Outside Waxahachie, they were building one that would dwarf CERN. For some reason it got cancelled in 1992, but the tunnels and buildings are still there. Very interesting.

Yes, I believe it is part of the alien / NWO to take over the planet via AI and a big hub is under Dallas; in fact I have heard that this is the REAL REASON JFK was eliminated as he was tipped off and was going to check it out once in Dallas. This plan to take over the planet has been going on for a long time and they are quite far along! They need lots of Uranium and lots of $$$ to maintain the AI, hence all their black projects. There is also a big one under Las Vegas

Yup...I remember. It was a huge project, but someone just bit off more than they could chew. Over budget and behind schedule, along with a shift of power in Washington, caused it to be scrapped.

Here is a recent article with a few pictures....

I think it would have been a great data storage facility. Plenty of power infrastructure and data fiber access. Or a really cool underground race track!!

Whats funny is just recently there was a construction project that laid pipe in the ground that were around 10 feet in diameter and the path goes right past that magna blend facility, the collider site. Its supposed to be a lake level balancing thing. From bardwell lake to benbrook lake i believe.

Just south of Waxahachie, someone has built a replica of Tesla's Wardenclyffe tower. It's just off of I-35 E on the west side of the road. Coincidence?

Here's a couple of articles about it, including pictures.

The coolest thing in Waxahachie IMO is The Munster Mansion. It is extremely bizarre to tour the inside knowing the family lived in it. I know the woman (we have the same trainer) and she told us that her grandkids thought the TV show was about them. The husband/wife began living in a small house on the property a few years ago because she started thinking the house was haunted. They built the house and nobody has died in it yet so either she let her imagination run wild or she is using the story to help her newish tour-by-appointment business. (The old Halloween Event in mid 0ctober was a charity fund raiser. It was worth the cost but not worth hours in line. I got to tour early without standing in line because I was a volunteer worker.)

I flew into Amarillo one summer afternoon. While approaching for landing, I could see the runway through the window about mid-way back on the South West Airlines 737. The cross wind was a gusty 30-50mph and giving the pilot fits! He was coming in sideslip, when he corrected to land the port wing almost touched, a few feet at most, and then he stuck that plane to the ground.

It was close!

Yes...it's windy across the high plains of Texas!!!
