Cardinal Pell found guilty of sexual abuse - vatican's financial chief

I don't know the details of this case, but could be a smear because...

Pell had been tapped by Pope Francis in 2014 to conduct a serious reform of Vatican finances, but met with increasing resistance as he began discovering large sums of money that had not been recorded in financial statements: 94 million euros in the Secretariat for State, later followed by nearly 1 billion euros in various other departments.

The Secretariat of State, the Administration of the Patrimony of the Holy See (APSA), and the Governorate of the Vatican City State reportedly resisted implementing tighter rules on transparency, compliance, and accounting, “largely because they might reveal corrupt practices or involve a loss of power among the so-called ‘old guard.’”

True, but this guy is the financial chief of the Holy See. And Australia has been under a gag order, not allowed to report on. Some are now after today's guilty verdict.

I used to hang out with a blackmailer who would drug their target's drink and then pose them with a small child and snap a few pictures. This was old school and decades ago, but if it works in the Washington area, I don't know why it wouldn't work in the Vatican.

I think many billions likely Trillions have been disappearing world wide for decades as the elites prepare underground bases to go and hide in when the shit hits the fan.
