My father is seeing shadow people all the time.

Hey I knew some of you folks here may have had some experience with shadow people. A little backstory, my father quite smoking about 25 years ago but has been dealing with COPD and emphysema for the past few years. He's been connected to a oxygen machine for the last few months and is miserable because he has night terrors now and said he see's shadow people at night all the time. He doesn't feel afraid because they don't really try to interact with him, just hang out and disappear randomly.
I'm not sure what to tell him other than they may be dead relatives hanging out with him because he's so sick. Honestly I'm not sure what to do or if there's anything I can do.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Tell your dad to remove as many allergens a possible. it helps. I know what he feels like, and it's a very anxiety-inducing condition. They might just be trying to comfort him. It doesn't mean that he's going to die now. I didn't, and that was a long, long, long time ago.
