Yes you should Know how bad our power infrastructure IS... there are quakes... Solar storms... floods... I generator is good but it will last as long as you can get fuel. It's still a good idea because I can run one for two weeks to power everything except the main AC in my hone. After two weeks, it will be dead without fuel.

Propane is good to cook and stay warm with. I have 300 pound tank which will last a long time. I have a few of those grill tanks. These are good for cooking and stay warm. They work great with a Mr. Heater.

You can use solar power to charge devices. These work well and are not too expensive.


I just don't like them putting out warnings like this. They did the same before 911. I would not rule out these evil criminals pulling the plug to save their own asses.

The Government, at least under Janet Napolitano, thought that anyone who had more than 3 days of supplies, was an anti-government terrorist.

They were making a list of names of people who purchased quantities of freeze-dried food, and other prepper supplies.

PLEASE stop with this.. these are normal government agencies and you will want this one if your local power goes down seriously for any reason at all.

I remember this but they have no idea what you buy when it's done with cash. Another reason they hate us using cash.
