They were stored on .drg files and you needed to download the files and player for money to work. I got my hands on a pirated copy. noting like grey noise for 20 minutes thinking how cool and futuristic you are. Till you realize you were a tool but at least didnt waste money on it. |

This primal region of the brain, associated with fear and emotion, is involved in the initiation of the body’s response to stress. As the amygdala shrinks, the pre-frontal cortex – associated with higher order brain functions such as awareness, concentration and decision-making – becomes thicker. |

Quoting: Txguy89 Supposedly you can heal your body, lucid dream, and many other things Heres an example video I'd love to hear from anyone who has listened and gotten results A million and one claims, mostly B.S. BUT they did do one thing. If you listen to the delta wave binaural and they are correctly produced and with the correct headphones i guess, and you meditate, but force yourself to stay awake, force your eyes to stay open, against the strong urge to slip into sleep and unconsciousness(hence delta waves like in deep sleep), you will enter/access a deep state of meditation, where you are pure awareness, your body goes numb then you forget you even have a body, you're just the isness, nothingness but awareness. Pretty cool and supposedly from there you can do many advanced things... But i never really tried to work on that. Perhaps i will find the time to do it again. Keep in mind, the endless claims of things like health and genius and cancer cures and whatever else, are put there to sell their product or generate views on youtube. Its false advertising put there because they want money. Last Edited by Agent Smith 2014 on 12/16/2018 10:51 AM Life is a dream and we are the imagination of ourselves. |

Quoting: LegoPlayer1 I can try that. I have a neurofeedback headset that records brainwaves during meditation. I’ll use it today while listening to binaural beats and report back! “If we are peaceful, if we are happy, we can smile and blossom like a flower, and everyone in our family, our entire society, will benefit from our peace.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Being Peace "But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you." - Job 12:7,8 "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." - Hunter S. Theta waves(??) gave me a headache when exposed for around an hour. Beta (or delta, idrk) worked to varying degrees during different time frames. I could never pinpoint which freq or wave pattern would work when. BAN MONSANTO! THE ANSWER TO 1984 IS 1776! |

I listen to some type of binaural beat video almost every night. For myself -the beats exclusively work better w/o the weirdo music. the bells and thunderstorm/ocean waves sounds r def relaxing but when I mean business, it's beats only. |

That can be made with audacity which is free to download. 77.85hz R 77.75hz L, amplitude 1, 30 mins long (so it is more consistent) then cut it and play on repeat with VLC on your phone/mp3 player. Quoting: Txguy89 Supposedly you can heal your body, lucid dream, and many other things Heres an example video I'd love to hear from anyone who has listened and gotten results Hey OP. I use them quite a bit and have for at least 5 years. I originally started out about 15 years ago with the Monroe Institute and some of their products. They are pricey but I felt they were quality and had confidence in their claims. At the same time I read and watched video's about self hypnotism...talking myself down into a trance state while trying to get my mind to relax. It was cool...had a few awesome lucid dreams, great body sensations. I got busy later and got out of the practice. In more recent years got back into it, using Youtube stuff. Some work better than others for me...and sometimes one will work great for a few times and then not...it's like I have to have something new every so often or else my brain will figure out a way to compensate to stay active. Switching to something different seems to help. In the end, I've had great experiences in meditation and have learned and still learning little trick to play on my mind to help it to relax and keep it from roaming around. Once you realize that momentum and intensity of thought will subside if you can find a way to stop mental stimulation, that helps a lot. Tricks like...counting a set of 4 numbers, in your mind, being sure to make them random as you count them...meaning you have to truly focus on 4 numbers and calling each on out in your mind in a random way....after a few minutes count slower and slower...make your mental voice a whisper...longer and longer between each number.... After just a bit you can 'feel' your brain relaxing... Other tricks are like....pretending there is a gag over my 'mental mouth' that keeps it from speaking. Or...Instead of allowing your mind to form sentences pretend you can only mumble. Doing this keeps your mind from forming sentences that lead to mental conversation. Or....pretend that nagging mental voice is suddenly placed in a box and shut the lid...you can experience 'silence' of mind for a few seconds...enough to let you know what 'silence' feels like. Or... pretending you have complete amnesia...so complete you don't even know english language. Pretend what it would be like...no language means no words. Or....with eyes closed, after a minute, pretend you are slowing shrinking...down, down...smaller and smaller...In the darkness of your mind pretend you go down to a molecule. Sometimes we have to 'use our mind/imagination' to create a situation where the mind relaxes...If you can't do it easily. Everyone says concentrate on your breathing.... Annoying for me because it doesn't work really easily. But, once achieve a lower brainwave state and recognize what it feels like, it becomes easier as you know what you are reaching for, or relaxing into. |
