Re: Update page 3: Our beloved dog has aggressive cancer. What suggestions do you have to help her?
1) Medicinal mushrooms / anti infection anti sepsis anti cancer
2) Essiac tea anti cancer
3) ResveraDog / anti cancer
4) cbd the dose is 1/4 the body weight ie 20lbs is 5mg anti cancer

Start now. Test a small amount to be sure of no allergy to the mushroom and start adding to get her up to therapeutic levels

I don't even have postage or i would mail it to you tomorrow morning.

But you might be surprised what 2 or 3 anti cancer foods will do - not to mention that infection problem.
Health food store is kinda costy but right now? Take a look at things and prices.
You can email too borderbotanicals@gmail

--------------------------------

If you can:
Sunnys liver dog diet from her web page:

9 cups of WATER in a BIG STEW POT
2-1/2 POUNDs GROUND TURKEY  (NOT white meat turkey)
2 cups BROWN RICE
2 CUPs WHOLE OATMEAL
1 LARGE PACKAGE (sack) MIXED VEGETABLES
1 LARGE PACKAGE (sack) of FROZEN PEAS
or 1 Large Package of Chopped Broccoli
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
MORE whole oatmeal to mix in after preceding mixture is finished -  Mix in enough oatmeal to absorb all liquid and leave the mixture a tad dry.

Bring Turkey to a boil in approximately 8 cups of water (be sure to stir in while it breaks up), add brown rice and oatmeal and cook covered about  55 minutes on very low simmer.  Stir in the garlic powder. Stir in vegetables about 10-15 minutes before the end of cooking time.   After, the cooking is finished, stir in the extra oatmeal 1/2 cup at a time to make the food the right consistency which is some what dry in appearance.   This oatmeal doesn't need to  "cook" as the heat from the rice and etc. will moisten it and make it edible.  Put in containers and refrigerate.  It will keep a week in the refrigerator.    We put ours in plastic covered containers and freeze it. In 2 quart containers, it takes overnight to thaw on the countertop.

About every 6th time I make it, I substitute the HIGHEST GRADE ground beef for the ground turkey - just for a change.   You can also change the green vegetable from time to time.  If your dog is too fat, you will probably want to add another bag of green veggies to reduce calories.   If the dog is underweight, you can add another lb. of turkey.

When ready to feed, put the supplements on the top, stir it up good and watch your "kids" gobble it up. When we feed Sunny, we give her as much as she wants and will eat twice a day.  I would estimate that she eats about 3/4 cup in the morning and in the evening.  We adjust the amount as necessary.  If she's off her "feed", which seldom occurs, we put her bowl in the microwave for a minute which seems to stimulate her appetite!!!
 Quoting: Timur2020

This above plus ozone, the vet has to give it IV or rectally. I wouldn't use the microwave though. I have heard conflicting things on garlic for dogs, but whole dog journal has a good article recommending a small amount of raw garlic.

She also has pyometra,so her uterus is full of pus. They can't do surgery because the cancer is mammary and close to the uterus. She is 12, and is a member of the family. She is a 7 lb Pomeranian. Yes, I have had big dogs, but these little ones really dig into a person's heart.
 Quoting: Gringo-Crackerº

I hate to tell you but pyometra, without surgery, is almost always fatal, especially in an older dog. I'm surprised the vet hasn't advised you of this. I assume they are at least trying antibiotics?

Saying goodbye to our babies is never easy but just be sure you don't let her suffer if it's her time.

I'm so sorry.

In thier drinking water, on bits of bread or cereal whatever they like - with the silver we try to get it in on empty stomach or with not a lot of food in the way. But it is absorbing from the mouth on down.

Its really good to see more people help thier friend and they thrive. Much better world than the "i'm lazy dont care shoot it" one I had to grow up in where ignorance was a badge and they drank a lot

CBD Oil For Dogs: 10 Things You Didn’t Know

3. CBD Can Fights Cancer

CBD and other substances found in hemp and cannabis have been found to have an anti-tumor effect. CBD has even been shown to stop cancer cells from growing and increased tumor cell death.

CBD helps the immune system’s killer cells to cause cancer cell death.CBD kills cancer cells by blocking their ability to produce energy.CBD’s anti-tumor properties slow and inhibit glioma cell growth.CBD can help increase the efficacy of conventional cancer treatment.

5. CBD Relieves Pain

The cannabinoids in CBD work so well for pain that scientists are considering it as a new class of drugfor the treatment of chronic pain. Studies show CBD to be very effective for:

Decreasing pain (including neuropathy and nerve-related pain)Decreasing the impact of inflammation on oxidative stress (which causes degeneration and premature aging)Decreasing inflammation in acute pancreatitisReducing inflammationReducing intestinal inflammation (associated with irritable bowel disease)

 Quoting: WOLF*

She is less than 10 lbs. so she would typically dose with significantly less than larger sized dogs would need... I've had my dog on a high CBD oil since March of this year...

You could consult with your vet about dosing or find a vet who is knowledgable about this medicinal, plant-based compound (CBD). It could really help to improve your pup's quality of life during the remainder of her time here (my K9 buddy just turned 12 and that's why I'm using it for him)...

Honestly, fucking bath them in it. Put it in their water, but also put it on their skin.

Not too much in their drinking water. A table spoon will go a long way.

Make sure you get a quality product. You never want silver in a salt form. Only nano particles of silver.

For a dog not treated it's entire life with it, I would buy a gallon of it to burn on the problem. Like I said getting it all over their body is important.

You're looking at something like $300 for a gallon.

Mixing colloidal silver with colloidal gold is called "the elixir of life".

Maybe you don't want to go that far with your dog, but maybe you do.

Send me a message if you want to know where to buy it.

They do have her on antibiotics though don't they? Sometimes you can get lucky and it will knock it out if it's not gone too far.

We went through the surgery with our 9 year old earlier this year and it was a tough experience but at least we have had more time with her. She's doing fine now but age (and I think the surgery) has taken a toll on her.

Oh also an important note with silver and dogs. You need to make sure they have enough Zinc in their diet to counter act giving them silver. Dogs don't process silver and copper the same as humans. Zinc is the natural antagonist for it.

So sorry you're going through this with your girlie. It doesn't seem fair that our beloved dogs have to go through these horrible illnesses. You already know you can't let her suffer, but that doesn't stop you from suffering for her.

You don't have to wait until she's in pain. You can request her be put down now. Save her any suffering. You are the owner and you make the decision. If the vet doesn't comply then find one who does.

Vet will ask you if you are sure, you sign the paper and they do the injection. You can hold her or the vet will take her into a surgery room after you say goodbye.

But that 'rule' for dosing doesn't account for the seriousness of the condition/ailment - you know? For instance treating a dog for anxiety isn't the same as treating a dog for cancer... Certain conditions will understandably require higher dosing, so all generalized dosing guidelnes (whether for humans or animals) should be viewed with that in mind and not as being some rigid set of rules that must be adhered to... Because of the seriousness of OP's dog's condition and the light weight - that's why I was encouraging to consult with a vet who may have experience recommending cbd for dogs for varying conditions...

You have no idea how many people report being told by their vets that their dog only had such and such amount of time remaining - only for the dog owners to find some alternative means of treating the condition and they end up extending the lifespan and improving the quality of life for their animal friend... These types of stories are common...

Re: Update page 3: Our beloved dog has aggressive cancer. What suggestions do you have to help her?
Dogs are very stoic, and not quick to show pain. I's up to us owners to sense the signs.

Yes I'm aware... Did OP indicate he sensed the dog was suffering and in severe/significant pain? Did he say the dog stopped eating/drinking or wanting to get up to use the bathroom?

huh

Have natural treatments been explored & exhausted?

Do we rush people off to hospice when they're given a terminal diagnosis but are still functioning? I don't see why we would treat our animal friends differently...

OP I responded to your thread immediately upon reading your first post... I see that several other users recommended cbd oil to you... Can you tell us what you're thinking after reading that advice? Is it something you are unfamiliar with and maybe reluctant to entertain and explore? I really empathize with your circumstances as my buddy is the same age as your dog and I'll likely be going through a similar set of circumstances in the not too distant future... I'll offer to have a bottle of good quality hemp-derived cbd oil drop shipped to you directly from the manufacturer - if you're open to it. But given the seriousness of your dog's condition I would ask that you consult with an animal care professional about a recommended treatment/dosage plan - and especially if the dog is currently on other vet-prescribed medications... Let me know ...

Re: Update page 3: Our beloved dog has aggressive cancer. What suggestions do you have to help her?
I'm so sorry for you guys (Dog and Family.)

I reckon that I'd ask myself what I'd wan't for me if I was at the Sr. portion of my life, had an aggressive cancer and the Uterine issue.

If it was just the Uterine issue, my choice would be to seek medical intervention.

With the combo of the two, and the age of the dog, my wish would be a peaceful end with as little suffering as possible, close to the people who loved me.

My heart goes out to you.
This is the real deal, not a rehearsal. Do your best and don't screw it up.
