I do think she is correct. The wall will be his Bush Sr. "No new taxes" moment. Two primary promises pushed him to the White House:

- lock her up
- build that wall

If he does neither, I do believe he will be done. And that sucks because both were easily achievable.

Well Trump’s biggest campaign promise was “The Wall” and he has failed to deliver. Its a huge deal if this does not happen. It is a reason alot of people voted for him. This issue and broken promise will damage him come 2020.

I think it's people's fault for believing promises made during a campaign. Like campaign promises have never been broken before? It's pretty naive to believe in them in the first place. The wall is not why most voted for him at all. They voted for him because he wasn't Hillary.

Trump really had no idea what he was getting into, and from the outside looking in, people bitching about it look like spoiled little brats. Even if he doesn't get the wall done, he's still the best leader you've had in a very long time. Count your blessings! Some of us are stuck with the likes of Trudeau.

In other words, Trump is doing exactly what I feared he would do in the worst conceivable way. He's not building the wall, while making ridiculous promises right up until the second before he folds.

It's not as if a majority of his voters weren't clear-eyed about what kind of man he is. If anything, Trump's vulgar narcissism made his vow to build a wall more believable. Respectable politicians had made similar promises over the years -- and they always betrayed the voters. Maybe it took a sociopath to ignore elite opinion and keep his word.

On the basis of his self-interest alone, he must know that if he doesn't build the wall, he has zero chance of being re-elected and a 100 percent chance of being utterly humiliated.

Instead, what he's doing now absolutely guarantees that the next president will be a Democrat and, given today's Democratic Party, that president will be Kamala Harris.

This President doesn't blow smoke out of his ass. If he says the wall will be built, you can bank on it. He's already said he'll use the military to build it if he has to.

Maybe she should get her ass to DC and offer to help him out.
