Hey, guys...I have little gizmo on my Linux laptop that has this star calculator thingy called an ephemerides (fancy word for "motion", I know), and if you'll pop in the latitude, longitude, and date thingy, it'll pop up this calculated star position chart thingy. And it says December 17, 6 BC Jupiter was standing in stationary transit in Aries over Bethlehem.    Many accounts (including the carol) say the Magi FOLLOWED the star (it moved like the pillar of fire and smoke of Moses) so following a moving star GUIDING the Magi isn't like a fixed star, also read OP text. THE ANGEL. The star and angel are inseparable if not synonymous.
